You will not regret it if you plant coreopsis on your plot - a bright and long-blooming flower, which, moreover, is absolutely unpretentious in care.
ADVICE.NEWS told us how to do it correctly.
A suitable site for coreopsis is a place with well-drained soil that receives plenty of sunlight. This is probably the most important condition, because the flower needs at least 6-8 hours of sunlight per day.
If you plant a plant in partial shade, it will undoubtedly grow, but, alas, you will not achieve the same rapid development and lush flowering from it in such conditions.
Please note: pruning off faded flower buds will encourage further growth of the plant.
Coreopsis prefers soil with a neutral pH. If the soil is clayey and very wet, try fertilizing it with compost.
Until the plants take root, they need to be watered frequently and regularly.
However, an adult plant tolerates drought well. However, to achieve abundant flowering of coreopsis, water the flower regularly.
The plant prefers a warm climate with temperatures of 21-25 degrees during the day and 10-15 degrees at night.
But the degree of air humidity does not play a big role for the growth and development of coreopsis.
