Every gardener who ignored the signs and got one at home is proud of the spreading fern.
But often this plant is not at all pleasing to look at: it withers, turns yellow, dries up – in a word, there is no trace of emerald greenery.
The reason for this is that owners do not take into account a number of important features of plant care.
The fern does not like rooms with dry, smoky air, so the plant withers in the kitchen. In the case of the fern, you need to ventilate the room more often and spray it with a spray bottle.
In addition, the windowsill is not considered the best place for the plant. The fern needs space, where its spreading leaves will not rest against the walls or window. The best option is a separate nightstand or stand.
Ferns can be fertilized from April to October. It is enough to use complex fertilizers so that the plant develops harmoniously and fills the space with emerald greenery. But you cannot feed a sick fern.
