We would like to warn those who are just recently trying their hand at plant growing against typical mistakes that beginners make when planting tomato seedlings in open ground or a greenhouse.

Too early

Rushing to transplant tomatoes will not lead to anything good - when planted in soil where the temperature does not reach 12 degrees Celsius, they will not start growing until it gets warmer.

Too close

Even if you have only six hundred square meters at your disposal, you should not try to save space at the expense of tomatoes. Plants planted at a distance of less than 50 cm from each other increase the risk of pests and diseases.

Provide tomatoes with enough sunlight and a warm breeze that blows over each leaf, and they don't need anything else.

It's very damp

Tomatoes also do not like soil that is too wet or does not dry out for a long time. In addition, make sure that water does not get on the leaves during watering to protect the plants from sunburn.
