In China, farmers are famous for their ingenuity. For example, they have learned to get twice as much fruit from one bush without much effort.
Chinese method
Chinese gardeners let the seedlings develop for up to a month, and then cut the seedlings close to the ground. They are transplanted into small containers, such as plastic cups.
Next, the seedlings are transferred to a place with good lighting and a temperature of +24 …+26 °C.
Water and care for the plants in the same way as with regular seedlings.
What's the trick?
After such a transplant, the bushes develop not into one stem, but into two. This ensures a double harvest from the bush.
But in this case, there is one important point that should be taken into account so that the fruits grow juicy and tasty.
An important nuance
Thanks to this method, the number of fruits increases approximately 2 times. This threatens that the fruits will not grow as juicy as usual.
Therefore, the Chinese remove the upper fruit clusters. Then the tomatoes grow much tastier and are not inferior to tomatoes grown in the usual way.
