Roses are beautiful and fragrant flowers that decorate any garden. But in order for them to please the eye and soul, you need to properly care for them.

One of the important points is to protect roses from pests and diseases that can damage their leaves, stems and buds.

There are different ways to deal with rose problems, but we offer you three natural solutions that will not only help keep your roses healthy and beautiful, but will also be environmentally friendly.

Garlic solution

Garlic is a natural antibiotic that is effective against many types of fungal and bacterial infections. To make a garlic solution, chop 100 g of garlic and pour 10 liters of water over it. The mixture should sit for 5 days, stirring occasionally. Before use, the solution should be filtered and diluted with water in a ratio of 1:10. Spray roses with a garlic solution once every 10 days from the beginning of the growing season until the end of flowering.

Milk-sulfur mixture

This remedy works well against spider mites, which can cause yellowing and leaf drop.

To prepare the milk-sulfur mixture, mix 1 liter of milk and 10 g of sulfur (you can use sulfur powder or sulfur paste). Then add 9 liters of water and mix well.

Spray roses with a milk-sulfur mixture once a week in the morning or evening hours in calm weather.

Tobacco infusion

Tobacco is an excellent remedy against aphids, which can suck the juice from roses and leave a sweet coating on them, attracting ants and other pests. To prepare a tobacco infusion, pour 100 g of tobacco leaves or waste with 10 liters of boiling water and leave for 24 hours.

Before use, strain the infusion and add 40 g of soap (you can use household or liquid soap). Spray the roses with tobacco infusion once every two weeks until the aphids are destroyed.

These three natural solutions will help you keep your roses healthy and beautiful, while also preventing soil and air pollution.

In addition, they are safe for bees and other beneficial insects that pollinate roses and other flowers. But do not forget that any product should be used with caution and the dosage and frequency of spraying should be observed.

It is also necessary to follow other rules for caring for roses, such as fertilizing, pruning, watering, loosening the soil and mulching.

Only then will your roses bloom magnificently and not get sick!
