Usually, greens do not keep for long. After just a couple of days, dill can completely lose its freshness and become unfit for consumption.

Therefore, people are forced to buy very little of this product in stores.

However, experienced housewives have found a way to extend the shelf life of greens.

Dill, cilantro, parsley or green onions will stay fresh for up to 15 days.

After such treatment, the fabric should be wrung out to remove excess moisture.

Next, you need to place the greens on the edge of the towel and twist it.

The resulting piece of fabric with green contents should be placed in a plastic bag.

This "construction" should be placed in the refrigerator. Specifically, in the fruit and vegetable storage box.

A damp cloth "shell" will extend the shelf life of greens. And any variety of it - spinach, salad, and herbs.

Even after 10-15 days, it will seem as if the greens were recently picked from the garden.
