How to feed raspberries in spring to get lots of berries: a trick from experienced gardeners

Without timely application of necessary fertilizers, it is impossible to get a good raspberry harvest.

If the plant does not receive the nutrients it needs, then few berries will form.

In addition, the fruits may not be the most delicious.

But if you feed the crop correctly, the harvest will be both abundant and high-quality.

Budding

During the appearance of buds, raspberry bushes need potassium and phosphorus components.

But excess nitrogen can have a negative effect on the plant.

Therefore, during this period it is advisable to add a complex fertilizer to the soil, which does not contain a lot of nitrogen.

A good option is nitroammophoska. To prepare the fertilizer, add 20-30 grams of this substance to a bucket of water.

The resulting liquid should be used to water the soil where the raspberries grow.

Bloom

When the plant begins to bloom, it again needs potassium and phosphorus.

However, this time we need to use not nitroammophoska, but superphosphate and potassium sulfide.

In both cases, 40 grams of the substance should be used per bucket filled with liquid.
