If you are unhappy with the quality and quantity of berries your cherry orchard produces, you may want to consider making changes to your care regimen.

An expert of the online publication BelNovosti, agronomist, landscape designer Anastasia Kovrizhnykh revealed the features of fertilizing cherry trees.

The specialist reminds: the first fertilizing in spring should be done before the trees bloom.

For this purpose, add ammonium nitrate to the tree trunk circle – approximately 20 grams per square meter.

The next time you need to apply fertilizers during the flowering process.

To do this, you will have to prepare a special solution - for 50 liters of water you will need 5 liters of mullein and 10 glasses of wood ash.

If the tree is less than 7 years old, it is enough to pour a bucket of solution under the root. For the same plantings, whose age exceeds 7 years, you will need 3 buckets.

Two weeks after the second feeding, it is time for another solution: this time, the cherry should be fed with 10 liters of water with a tablespoon of potassium sulfate and one and a half glasses of superphosphate dissolved in them.
