Lush and very delicate peonies are a decoration of any flowerbed. After all, bushes with these flowers always attract attention.
That is why many owners of country plots want to grow such flowers themselves.
It is better to plant in early spring, before the start of stable warming. The optimal time is April.
If you manage to complete the work this month, the plants will have time to take root in the soil before the shoots appear.
A hole must be made in advance. Its size must be larger than the root system of the seedling. The distance between the bushes must be at least a meter and a half.
Drainage should be placed at the bottom.
Next, add a bucket of humus or compost to the roots along with the soil. It wouldn't hurt to add a little superphosphate and potassium sulfate. 80 grams of each product will be enough.
You also need to add 2 glasses of wood ash.
All components must be thoroughly mixed. About 20 cm of soil must be added to the top dressing.
If the soil is heavy, then the division should be deepened from the point of bud growth by 4-5 cm, and if the soil is light, by 5-6 cm.
Then the plants need to be watered. It wouldn't hurt to mulch the planting area.
