Gooseberries are a healthy and tasty product. But to get a great harvest, you need to apply fertilizers on time.

This fruit bush needs to be fertilized several times per season. The first part of the fertilizer is usually applied before flowering to provide the plant with strength.

Spring feeding, before the buds swell, is especially important. It is necessary to add up to five kilograms of compost or humus, which is mixed with urea, potassium sulfate and superphosphate.

The product should be poured in a thick layer around the ground and lightly sprinkled with peat or soil.

If the gooseberry is already beginning to bloom, then liquid manure or nitrophoska can be used as fertilizer.

In May, the plants will need to be watered with a mixture of 60 grams of superphosphate, 40 grams of potassium sulfate, and a liter of wood ash.

Then, after flowering, it is necessary to feed the fruit bushes again. It is advisable to add manure under the plants again.
