Not everyone, even experienced gardeners, can boast of knowing all the intricacies of growing parsley.

That is why the expert of the online publication BelNovosti, scientist agronomist, landscape designer Anastasia Kovrizhnykh has compiled a short cheat sheet that will tell you how to behave in a difficult situation.

First of all, let us remember that root parsley should only be sown when the soil has warmed up.

From the moment of emergence until the formation of marketable root crops, that is, those that are 1.5 cm in diameter, it takes about 100-130 days.

Please note: the seeds should be placed in previously prepared soil. It will be better if you take care of this in the fall.

In the spring, the soil should be leveled and furrows made 1-1.5 cm deep at a distance of 20-25 cm from each other.

And to make parsley seeds germinate faster, they should be soaked, changing the water many times.

If you ignore this procedure, the shoots will appear only after 2.5-3 weeks. However, for leaf parsley this is not a problem, because its greens gain mass after a month.
