You can prevent seedlings from stretching if you adhere to the sowing dates for seedlings, place containers with seedlings at some distance from each other, and also turn the containers with seedlings in the evening in the other direction.
If the plants lack nutrition, they not only stretch, but also turn yellow. In this case, it is worth feeding the plants with magnesium.
The feeding solution is prepared from 1 gram of magnesium sulfate and 1 liter of settled water.
Problems with seedlings are also observed when they grow at an unsuitable temperature.
You can help plants by using specially created preparations. These include such products as the phytohormonal "Athlete", "Krepen" and others.
If the stretching is caused by untimely transplantation of seedlings into containers of larger volume, the solution comes by itself - the seedlings should be placed as soon as possible in a larger volume of soil and fed with complex fertilizer.
