Many summer residents try to plant plants on their plots that can delight with their flowering before the onset of cold weather.
To ease the agony of choice, the expert of the online publication BelNovosti, scientist-agronomist, landscape designer Anastasia Kovrizhnykh has compiled a short list, which includes three names of flowers that can delight with a riot of bright colors before the onset of cold weather.
Marigolds probably deserve to be at the top of this list as a simple and time-tested option. Their unpretentiousness is evidenced by the fact that they can survive in city flower beds.
Stocks bloom in early summer and are able to retain their decorative qualities until the cold weather sets in. As with marigolds, care for these plants is minimal.
However, there is one nuance that is worth considering: the flower has a strong aroma, so before planting stocks in your flowerbed, you should first smell them.
You can enjoy the flowering of gazania from the beginning of June until the end of October – frosts do not particularly bother it. By the way, it can grow both in the shade and in the sun, and the main care consists of watering.
