It is unlikely that there is a summer resident who has not encountered a disease such as powdery mildew.

According to the expert of the online publication BelNovosti, agronomist and landscape designer Anastasia Kovrizhnykh, this scourge can be found especially often on cucumbers, currants and gooseberries.

If you notice the first signs of the disease, you should take action as quickly as possible, since the disease spreads unusually quickly.

For this purpose, experienced plant growers begin to prepare a solution based on ash.

300 g of wood burning residue should be poured with a small amount of water so that the ash is completely covered with liquid.

After this, the future remedy for powdery mildew should be boiled for half an hour, cooled and allowed to settle.

Before use, dilute the resulting concentrate with 10 liters of water, and for stickiness add 50 g of soap.

The solution is used for spraying, which should be done twice a month in the evenings.
