Roses are the real queens of the garden. If you want them to please you with their blooming as long as possible, then immediately after removing the cover, you need to carry out a number of measures that will restore the plants.
First of all, you should carry out spring sanitary pruning of roses, namely, cut out all frozen, diseased and broken shoots.
All cuts after pruning should be sealed with garden pitch.
Then you can proceed to adding fertilizer.
But it should be taken into account that if the roses were initially planted in a well-fertilized hole, then the process of fertilizing can be repeated only after 2-3 years.
Immediately after removing the cover, nitrogen fertilization is suitable.
After two weeks, you should apply a complex mineral fertilizer (containing equal parts of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium).
Do not forget about watering. If the soil dries out too much, it will negatively affect the condition of the plants. The first procedure can be carried out as soon as stable warm weather sets in. The water for watering should be warm. Water should be poured under the root.
