Take care of a good potato harvest on your plot, and green manure will help you with this.
Annuals are grown in the garden to enrich and improve the quality of the soil.
Choose early spring, when the soil has warmed up to 4-6 cm. Green manure is sown at a rate of 2 kg of green manure per 100 m2.
Mown green manure is plowed 2 weeks before planting the seed material. In heavy soil, green manure is plowed to 8 cm, in light soil - up to 12-16 cm.
Potatoes are planted in soil enriched with green manure no deeper than 5-6 cm.
After planting, potatoes are fed according to established rules.
Between the rows of potatoes you can plant mustard, which will loosen the soil, repel pests and prevent weeds from growing.
