Delicate cucumber seedlings are demanding of soil and weather conditions.

Often, summer residents have to delay planting seedlings until the last minute in order to minimize the risk of their death.

But the Korean method was invented to increase the endurance of young plants. The method was created specifically to get the first harvest faster.

To grow such seedlings, you need old sawdust of deciduous trees. Fresh shavings are not suitable, because they draw nitrogen from the soil, which is necessary for seedlings.

A small container is filled one third with rotted sawdust and poured with boiling water. When the wood material cools down, the seeds are planted.

Before planting, you need to lightly, without excessive force, flatten the very edge of the seeds. This will also speed up germination.

The seed material is spread over sawdust and then lightly sprinkled with soil. The container is covered with glass or wrapped in a transparent bag.

According to summer residents who tested this method, shoots appear in a few days. Sawdust is lighter than soil, so the seedlings grow roots faster.
