How to Achieve Lush Blooming Zinnias: A Simple Scheme

To ensure that zinnias delight you with lush and abundant flowering, fertilizers alone are not enough, but of course, you can’t do without additional feeding.

So, first of all, when planting seedlings in open ground, add 2 tablespoons of any fertilizer that has a long effect to each hole - for example, "Zion" or "Osmokot".

Important: the distance between plantings should be approximately 35-40 cm.

If you grow zinnias in pots, make sure that the volume of the pot is at least 10 liters.

Only with such space will the plants grow in comfort and delight their owner with numerous bright buds.

Don’t forget about the soil: to fill the flowerpot you will need 7 liters of high-moor deoxidized peat, 2 liters of garden soil, 1 liter of perlite (needed to retain moisture) and 2 tablespoons of that same “long-lasting” fertilizer.

This substrate is ideal for growing zinnias, but it tends to dry out, so don't forget to moisten it regularly.

Here, in fact, are all the necessary “attributes” for lush flowering of zinnias: loose soil, prolonged fertilization and regular watering.
