Why did the garlic in the garden suddenly turn yellow: the plant urgently needs this fertilizer

Garlic is one of the most popular crops among summer residents, which can throw up an unpleasant “surprise”.

Until recently, the plantings were green, like a Christmas tree, but suddenly the upper part of the feathers turned yellow.

There is one main reason why this happens. It is all about the lack of an important macroelement – nitrogen. It is responsible for the health of the green part of the plant.

When preparing a bed, gardeners add manure and other organic matter, which saturates the plantings with nitrogen. But as it develops, garlic takes all the nitrogen from the soil when growth is not yet complete.

The problem is solved very simply. You just need to add fertilizer that is rich in nitrogen. But in this case, you need to use organic matter in moderation, because during the development of the head, nitrogen is no longer required as much as at the beginning.

Nitrogen-containing organic matter can include bird droppings, lake silt or compost.
