What to plant next to peppers
Experienced gardeners have identified several crops that can be safely planted next to bell peppers. These include:

- basil;
- marigold;
- nasturtium.
Thus, you can choose a “neighbor” for peppers based on practicality, or you can simply plant flowers that will not yield a harvest, but will repel pests with their aroma.
What should not be planted next to peppers
There are plants that have a negative effect on pepper. Some crops take away nutrition, others suffer from the same ailments. This list includes:
- nightshade;
- legumes;
- fennel;
- dill.
It is better to find another place on the plot for these crops. Otherwise, you will not be able to scare away the pests, and the pepper will develop worse in general.
