The Decembrist is incredibly beautiful, but sooner or later its flowers fade.

The spectacular plant can please us with its blooming again, but it needs help. To do this, gardeners carry out three simple procedures.

After flowering, you need to pinch 2-3 upper segments of shoots. This action stimulates their branching.

Starting from January-February, when the Decembrist has finished flowering, reduce watering. It is enough to moisten the soil once every 7-10 days, when the top layer dries out. After the Decembrist has flowered, it is important not to overwater, otherwise the plant will get sick.

The air temperature promotes the rejuvenation of the flower. It is better to remove the plant away from hot radiators and find a place for it in a room with a temperature of +15 …+18 °C.

At the same time, you should not allow the flower to become too cold. A long stay in the cold can result in the death of the Schlumbergera plant.
