How to Grow Parsley Without Damaging It: New Technique

When growing parsley, it is worth taking into account its peculiarity, which is that the plant has a very fragile central root.

Because of this, seedlings can be easily damaged when transplanted into the garden bed.

In this regard, growing aromatic greens should begin with planting seeds - disposable plastic cups filled with soil are perfect.

To speed up the germination of seeds, they should be soaked in water.

To do this, line the bottom of a plastic container with gauze and moisten it with warm water, then place the seeds on top and leave for 3-4 days, remembering to change the water periodically.

After soaking, the seeds should be dried.

Now you need to make a small hole in the soil, about 1 cm in size, and put a pinch of seeds in each hole.

All that remains is to cover the seeds with soil and water them (a small amount), and cover the cups with film and place them in a warm place (in a room with a temperature of +21 degrees).

On average, it takes 2 to 4 weeks before the first shoots appear, so do not forget to moisten the plantings during this time, and at the beginning of May you can begin transplanting them into open ground.
