Indoor flower lovers face a problem when growing Kalanchoe: the plant sheds its flowers and produces more and more greenery.

Over time, the flower is no longer as beautiful as it was after purchase, when it was covered with luxurious inflorescences.

This is a common phenomenon that every second gardener faces. It is enough to apply a couple of tricks - and the Kalanchoe will bloom magnificently again.

Trimming

To begin with, Kalanchoe needs to be trimmed radically – by 2/3 of the total volume of vegetation. You can safely remove shoots, but it is important to do this with a sharp and clean tool.

Cool

After pruning, Kalanchoe should be placed in a cool place where the temperature is between +16 …+18 °C.

The plant does not need much light during this period. 8-9 hours of daylight will be enough, so the Kalanchoe can be moved to a less illuminated corner of the home. The plant is returned to its previous place when the first buds appear.
