Gardeners consider cherry to be an unpretentious crop that requires minimal care.

Simple rules will help you grow a rich harvest of sweet berries.

Cherry tree feeding

The plant needs ash in spring. It is applied in a liter jar to damp soil along the perimeter of the crown.

During the growth of the ovaries, the leaves are sprayed with a solution containing microelements. To increase the bone, it would not hurt to add another jar of ash.

In August, water the plant with a solution of 2 tablespoons of double granulated superphosphate and 1 tablespoon of potassium per 10 liters of water - at least 4 buckets, and you will also need ash - a liter jar. If there is no ash, then you can use dolomite flour.

After the leaves have fallen, you can add a few buckets of organic matter.

Watering the cherry tree

Cherry can grow without regular watering. However, in this case, there is a chance that you will not get a sweet harvest: the berries will grow sour and small.

Water the cherry tree 3-4 times during the season:

  • after flowering;
  • during the formation of ovaries;
  • after harvest;
  • at the end of September.

Watering is not necessary if the summer is too rainy.

It is better to make furrows around the tree for watering and you can pour about 15 liters of water under each one.
