As is known, flower beds and individual flower beds require the application of fertilizers – mineral or organic – with the arrival of spring.

According to the expert of the online publication Belnovosti, scientist-agronomist, landscape designer Anastasia Kovrizhnykh , organic matter is mainly applied under the root.

As a rule, manure and bird droppings are used to prepare infusions, ash is dissolved in water, and other organic fertilizers are used as mulch or to fill planting holes.

There are other rules that should be followed when carrying out such a procedure.

If you are going to apply flower food, it is important that their leaves are not splashed with water, as no solutions should be applied to the above-ground parts of plants.

Avoid using manure. Of course, the ban does not apply to rotted fertilizer, but to fresh fertilizer - it can cause root burn.

Excessive use of nitrogen will result in delayed flowering and decreased plant immunity to various diseases.

Avoid fertilizing flowering plants - they do not need extra feeding.
