2. Acidic soil is harmful to peonies. The maximum value for the plant is 5.5 pH, but it is better to provide no less than 6.5.
3. For peonies, you need to select a well-lit area. Several hours of shade during the day will not help ensure abundant flowering.
4. Lowlands are not suitable for peonies. Stagnant water after a heavy rain or excessive watering will kill the plants.
5. Some summer residents, trying to fit everything into a small area, plant peonies near trees. According to experienced gardeners, this is not the most rational solution. The trees will take all the water and nutrients.
