To plan the optimal garlic fertilizing scheme, you need to know a few rules:
- what type of garlic do you want to plant;
- what was growing in your garden before;
- soil feature.
Only a balanced consideration of all factors will allow you to achieve a good garlic harvest.
Garlic prefers to grow in fertile soil: be it loam or super sandy soil containing organic matter.
The crop will not like acidic soil. The soil should retain moisture, but not allow it to stagnate.
If water lingers and accumulates in the depressions of the area, the garlic heads may rot.
How to feed garlic

Nitrogen-containing fertilizers

- saturating the cloves with useful substances.
