The method of soaking seeds, which will be discussed further, was used by our grandmothers, but today, unfortunately, it has been undeservedly forgotten.

We are talking about using onion peels.

Gardeners who have tried this method claim that onion peelings work just as well as store-bought preparations.

The secret is that the husk contains a large amount of vitamins and microelements, as well as flavonoids - ruin and quercetin.

All these substances have a positive effect on the seeds and the plants themselves, strengthening their immunity and improving their adaptive abilities.

In addition, the husks left after cleaning the bulbs can destroy bacteria and fungi that may have settled on the seed material.

So, to soak the seeds, it is enough to grind the husk and pour a small amount of it into a cotton pad, where the grains are soaked.

The seed material should remain in this form for no more than 24 hours.
