Many summer residents do not neglect the help of birds in the fight against garden and vegetable pests.
Insectivorous birds such as swifts, swallows, tits, starlings, wagtails and others can significantly reduce the number of parasitic insects.
To attract winged “helpers”, you should feed them during the winter period.
To do this, of course, you will need to make a feeder, so we are in a hurry to share with you the simplest method for constructing a “pit stop” for birds.
To make a feeder, you will need a milk or juice box.
It needs to be thoroughly rinsed from the inside, and then, using scissors or a stationery knife, cut out holes on the sides.
Don't forget to cover the openings with tape or even a band-aid.
After this, make holes in the upper part of the tetrapack, through which you need to thread the wire (rope) to secure the structure to the branch.
All that remains is to fill the bird's "dining room" with treats and hang it in the garden.
