To avoid wasting precious land, you need to follow crop rotation rules.

Radish is one of the first vegetables to appear on a gardener's table. The first fruits ripen already at the end of spring.

At the beginning of summer, the bed after the radish is empty. A rational summer resident asks a logical question: "What to plant in the vacated area?"

When looking for a worthy option, it should be remembered that not all crops will grow well after radishes. Such plants include:

  • turnip;
  • radish;
  • cabbage;
  • daikon;
  • swede;
  • spinach;
  • watercress;
  • carrot.

All these plants have common diseases with radishes and are attacked by the same pests.

Planting these crops in a bed after radishes can lead to undesirable consequences. Then all efforts will be in vain, extra troubles will be added, which are already enough at the dacha.

After radishes, experienced gardeners recommend planting tomatoes, peppers or eggplants.
