Small and frail seedlings need to be urgently given a nutrient solution, which will preserve the chances of getting a gorgeous tomato harvest.

You can’t just look at thin and sickly seedlings that might not even make it to open ground.

Stunted seedlings need immediate help. The sooner you feed them, the more time the plant will have before transplanting to a permanent place.

What do seedlings need?

The solution is based on ammonia. Seedlings need one macroelement most of all – nitrogen.

It gives seedlings the strength to develop properly, grow greenery, preparing tomatoes for the next stage.

If there is a lack of nitrogen, tomato seedlings grow weak and thin, and if there is a lack of light, they also stretch out.

How to prepare fertilizer

Ammonia is diluted in water - 1 ml per 1 l. The solution is poured into a spray bottle and the seedlings are sprayed on the leaves.

Fertilizer is applied once. It is best to do this 7-10 days after the emergence of seedlings.
