Dill greens are one of the early and vitamin-rich products for our table.

Everyone loves to grow it in their garden plots.

Any early spring greens have a very beneficial effect on the body, especially after winter vitamin deficiency.

However, to get a good harvest of dill, you need to take good care of it. Then this fresh greenery will be enough not only for consumption, but also for freezing, drying and canning.

At the beginning, before sowing the seeds, fertilize the soil in the area allocated for sowing dill and do it better in the fall. Put organic fertilizer on the area, it can be rotted compost and then dig up the soil.

If self-seeding dill has appeared in the garden, it is advisable to leave it, but remove it where it interferes with the growth of other crops.

This dill will form wonderful umbrellas, even better than those sown in the garden. They are used for preservation.

The acidity of the soil for sowing dill should ideally be neutral with a pH of 6-7.

Sow dill seeds in a well-lit place. Shade for greens will reduce their quality. There is no need to soak them before sowing.

To get a continuous supply of fresh dill throughout the season, sow its seeds every 2-3 weeks.

Before the first shoots appear, do not water the area abundantly to prevent the formation of an earth crust.
