What indoor flowers can be given for a holiday: more practical than a bouquet

Cut roses, chrysanthemums or lilies have become a traditional gift for any occasion.

However, the traditional gift can be replaced with flowers in a pot - this option is much more practical, because in this case the flowers will not hang their heads after a couple of days.

An expert of the online publication Belnovosti, agronomist, and landscape designer Anastasia Kovrizhnykh listed beautiful plants that are suitable for this purpose.

Anthurium

The plant, consisting of a leaf-covering and a cob, is interesting not only for its structure, but also for its coloring – you can find red, white and even blue anthuriums.

Despite the fact that the plant blooms only once a year, this period lasts quite a long time - from May to September, and some species are capable of blooming almost the entire year.

Hibiscus

During flowering, the hibiscus bush will display many flowers, which may be double or cup-shaped.

Hibiscus can also be chosen according to your color preferences - red, white or yellow.

Fuchsia

Unusually shaped fuchsia flowers are capable of winning the heart of anyone. They look like tubular cups with a long stamen in the middle.

You can admire the flowering of this plant, which, depending on the species, delights with white, red or purple flowers, from the beginning of spring until the end of autumn.
