Some summer residents manage to harvest two radish crops per season – in spring and summer, but both times the size of the fruit is amazing.
Large radishes grow in those gardeners who feed the plant with a simple folk remedy.
Throughout the development of radishes, gardeners try to give them more nutrition. The result is large and juicy fruits.
Wood ash is added during digging – 500 g per 1 sq. m. The fertilizer is rich in phosphorus and potassium, which are necessary for many fruit plants.
When the radish has gained some green mass, another feeding is added. For 5 liters of hot water, take 200 g of ash.
Infuse for 24 hours, then dilute with water in a 1:1 ratio. Carefully irrigate the beds with the resulting solution.
Experienced gardeners say that this is one of the best fertilizers not only for radishes, but also for cucumbers and tomatoes.
You need to pour 100 g of dry yeast into 10 liters of warm water, add a little sugar and stir. Leave for a day, and then water the plants at the root or apply on the leaves.
