The cabbage harvest is almost entirely based on the quality of the seedlings, so experienced gardeners pay special attention to it.

From sowing seeds to emergence of seedlings, it takes on average 8-12 days, and until full-fledged seedlings form, another 45-50 days.

Thus, cabbage should be sown approximately 55-60 days before planting in the ground. This is approximately the middle or even the second half of March.

Many gardeners wonder what to feed seedlings with so that they grow like crazy.

The specialist advises paying attention to complex fertilizers. No folk remedy will give such a result as a solution in which all the elements necessary for plants are concentrated.

Fertilizer is applied after watering once every 2-3 weeks. It turns out, on average, 3-4 times before transplanting into open ground. Therefore, do not overdo it with the dosage.

It is important to monitor how the seedlings are developing. If the stems become too thick and the leaves become large, it is time to stop fertilizing.
