Thrifty gardeners do not miss the opportunity to use expired products for the benefit of the garden.

In the arsenal of fans of folk remedies there are many recipes and compositions designed to increase crop yields, kill pests, and destroy pathogenic microbes.

So, to improve the composition of the soil in the beds, summer residents bury raw eggs. They mainly use those that have already gone rotten, but they also bury fresh ones.

Eggshells decompose faster in soil than in compost. If you puncture them before putting them in the ground, the process will go faster. The unpleasant smell of hydrogen sulfide will not bother the sense of smell; the soil will absorb it.

It should be noted that even in the soil, eggshells decompose quite slowly. Therefore, it is not necessary to wait until plants appear on the site.

For example, you can bury it in early spring or autumn. If the area is used every year, the nutrients will not be wasted, everything will benefit the harvest.
