In cold weather, greens become more expensive and are of no use. That's why some people grow dill at home.
This is a convenient option, and at the same time you will always have fresh and healthy greens on hand.
This is not a capricious plant, it is easy to grow at home if you take proper care of it.
Planting dill just once will last you the entire winter.
Place 3 cm of drainage at the bottom of a large flower pot. Fill it with universal garden soil and add water so that the soil is moist, but do not overdo it. Make small grooves, pour dill seeds into them, and loosen the soil on top.
Cover the pot with film and place it in a warm place for 2-3 days and wait until the seeds germinate.
After a week you will see that the first shoots have appeared and move the pot to the windowsill.
But cold air should not come through the windows, otherwise the plant will die. It is best to place the pot on the sunny side.
If this is not possible, artificial lighting is necessary. A white spectrum lamp can be used for this purpose.
Place it above the plant at a height of 50-60 cm and, when all the work is done, wait for the harvest.
Dill needs to be watered daily. If you do everything right, then in winter you will always have fresh greens on your table.
