In winter, everyone loves to eat citrus fruits: oranges, tangerines, lemons.
After consumption, there are many skins left, which are usually thrown away. But the owners of indoor plants leave them and use them as home fertilizer.
Experienced gardeners advise feeding orchids with orange water. Because orange water is the so-called analogue of the drug "Ascorutin", which contains vitamins C and P.
This preparation is very often used for feeding indoor plants.
Water the orchids with orange fertilizer, they will quickly revive and begin to bloom.
To make homemade fertilizer, you need to take the peel of one orange.
Then you need to cut them into small pieces or grind them using a blender.
After this, you need to pour 1 liter of water at room temperature over the orange peel. The orange fertilizer should be infused for about a day, then you can strain it through a sieve or gauze. The orchid needs to be filled with this orange tincture.
To do this, you need to place the flower pot in a deep bowl and completely fill the roots with water.
If there is pine bark in the soil, then the orchid pot should be left in orange water for 10 minutes. During this time, the roots will perfectly absorb all the nutrients. After using orange fertilizer, the orchid will bloom lushly and turn green again.
You can also make the same fertilizer, only much faster. Instead of peel, you need to take freshly squeezed orange juice.
To prepare orange water, you need to dilute 1 teaspoon of orange juice in 1 liter of water. If you want to feed orchids with the drug "Ascorutin", then you need to dilute 2 tablets in 1 liter of water.
