Sometimes summer residents have to intervene in a process that is regulated by nature itself - this concerns the germination of seeds when sowing them for seedlings.
Mostly, seeds of heat-loving crops are germinated, such as bell peppers. We will tell you how to speed up this process.
During sowing, gardeners are on the lookout every day, because if for some reason the seeds do not germinate and do not produce shoots, then they will have to start all over again.
You will need a thermos, water and cloth.
1. The water needs to be heated to about 40 degrees, and then poured into a thermos.
2. Pepper seeds should be placed in a cloth bag or simply wrapped in gauze, placed in a thermos and closed with a lid.
3. The seeds are processed for 12 hours.
Then the grains are taken out and dried on paper napkins or a towel, without removing them from the bag (fabric).
When the excess moisture has been absorbed, the workpiece is placed closer to heating devices for a day.
You can't put seeds on a hot radiator - they'll dry out. You need to find a more comfortable place, or you'll have to put something on the radiator to lower the temperature.
After this, you can start sowing. As a result of such treatment, pepper seeds germinate twice as fast.
