Experienced gardeners often use this life hack during the winter.

Few people know that throwing snow into a greenhouse is quite beneficial for the soil.

However, gardeners argue that such actions make sense.

Even though the greenhouse is empty during the winter, it still needs to be looked after.

For example, removing fallen snow from the surface of the greenhouse.

In winter, the soil in the greenhouse freezes much faster than in open space, because when snow lies on the garden, it protects it from freezing, but snow does not get into the greenhouse, so the soil there is not protected in any way.

Due to soil freezing, all beneficial and harmful microorganisms contained in it will simply die.

To prevent this from happening, experienced gardeners periodically throw snow into the greenhouse, creating a protective layer of 20-30 cm.

Remember that the layer of snow cannot be trampled down; it must be loose.

With the arrival of spring, this protective layer will simply melt.

As a result, the soil in the greenhouse will be moistened and during the planting of seedlings it will be damp and nutritious.
