This most often happens when fairly expensive seeds were used.
Complaints about this situation can be found on social networks, on thematic forums and in other places where gardeners and vegetable growers communicate with each other.
It was here that we managed to find out what might be the reason for this behavior of the seeds.
It turned out that instead of seeds covered in a special protective shell, the scammers produce and sell dummies with nothing inside.
Of course, it is simply impossible to visually detect such deception - the truth will only be revealed if the suspicious seed material is ground.
By the way, there is another reason that can lead to such a result - since many sellers now prefer to pack seeds in plastic bags, the seeds die due to the lack of air. Therefore, if you have purchased such seed material, take the trouble to pack it in paper bags.
