The correct choice of the place for planting vegetable seedlings is almost half the success of the entire sowing campaign.

When it comes to heat-loving crops, there is not much choice here - the seedlings are planted in a greenhouse, which, as we know, is not made of rubber and also has its own requirements.

Greenhouse

It is clear that a high-quality pepper harvest can only be collected in a greenhouse, since the conditions for growing this crop in a greenhouse are close to ideal.

Open ground

You shouldn't rush to transplant seedlings into unheated soil, especially in changeable weather. At the very least, you'll have to wait until the threat of night frosts has passed.

Therefore, seedlings are often transplanted at the end of May or the beginning of June, and even later in the northern regions.

Before taking the seedlings to the dacha, you need to start hardening them 2 weeks before. This is an important condition for transplanting into a greenhouse or open ground.

Hardening begins with basic ventilation of the room, with the gradual transfer of seedlings to the balcony or another relatively cool place. It is important to cover the seedlings from direct sunlight. Night temperatures should not be below 14 degrees Celsius.
