As you know, it is impossible to collect an impressive harvest of garlic without timely application of fertilizers.
An expert of the online publication Belnovosti, agronomist, landscape designer Anastasia Kovrizhnykh told what fertilizers should be used for garlic beds with the onset of spring.
First in line are fertilizers containing nitrogen.
Two weeks after the shoots appear, water the beds with a urea solution prepared by dissolving 20 g of urea in 10 liters of water. You will need 3 liters of the finished fertilizer per 1 square meter.
If you notice that the garlic has started to turn yellow, after 15 days use fertilizers containing nitrogen again – this time, azofoska or NPK will come in handy.
Another option for feeding is bird droppings.
It should be dissolved with water in a ratio of 1 to 25, then left for 3 days to allow the nutrient composition to infuse.
After the specified time, you can begin applying the fertilizer to the roots.
