In autumn, don’t forget to take care of strawberries and wild strawberries, which require special care during this period.

During October-November, carry out several procedures that will help them endure the harsh winter climate.

The main fertilizer during this period is potassium magnesium sulfate.

Thanks to magnesium, plants will strengthen their immunity, which will significantly affect their winter hardiness.

Potassium will create an excellent base for next year’s harvest, and sulfur, which is beneficial for the root system, will also do its job.

For this type of feeding, take 1 tablespoon of the product per 1 strawberry bush.

However, it is worth knowing that if strawberry bushes grow in black soil, they do not need magnesium, and the lack of sulfur can be replaced with potassium sulfate.

If the soil under the strawberries is a saline soil, instead of potassium magnesium sulfate, it is worth adding potassium nitrate or potassium sulfate.

If it is not possible to apply these fertilizers, they can be replaced with regular wood ash. For this, 1 glass of the product will do for 4-5 strawberry bushes. Sprinkle it around the plant and slightly loosen the soil.
