One effective option is to collect the shield bugs manually, while also monitoring the plantings for evidence of insect egg laying.
It is necessary to maintain order on the site and not allow thickets in the raspberry patch. By the way, this same option will help in case of prevention of fungal diseases.
Returning to the fight against pests, in order not to disturb the fragile balance in nature, it is worth planting wormwood or black cohosh next to the raspberries to combat bedbugs.
The next point is mandatory digging of the soil in late autumn. In addition, it is necessary to remove the remains of leaves and other vegetation so as not to create comfortable conditions for the pest to overwinter.
