Experienced gardeners know that it is necessary to focus on the lunar calendar so that the root system of the plantings develops well and the seedlings are strong and healthy.

In January, you can begin planting tomato seedlings for late ripening periods.

The 24th, 25th, 29th and 31st are perfect for this.

It won't be too late to do this in the last month of winter.

Favorable days for this: 1, 2, 3, 21, 24, 25 and 26 February.

In spring, you need to move on to sowing mid-early and early varieties.

Tomatoes will grow better and take root well in open ground later if you sow seeds for seedlings on March 1-3, 24-25, and 29-30. If you want to start the task in April, it is advisable to do this at the beginning (4th and 5th) or at the end of the month (24-25, 29 and 30th).

You can't do this during the new moon or the full moon. You shouldn't even loosen the soil or water the tomatoes at that time.

It is believed that on such days it is very easy to harm this fragile culture.
