Lots of large, healthy, fleshy and juicy fruits – this is how summer residents imagine the ideal tomato harvest.

To achieve excellent results, there is no need to use only purchased products. You can cope with folk remedies.

But there is no need to rush with adding fertilizer. You need to observe the plantings and make decisions in the process: adjust the nutrition or change the watering.

If tomatoes grow poorly, are sick, the fruits are smaller than usual for a given variety, or take a long time to ripen, then the problem is a lack of iodine.

You can use fertilizer already at the stage of growing seedlings. During this period, the plants will receive the necessary elements and after transplanting into open ground will not experience problems during the growth process.

To prepare the fertilizer, mix 10 drops of iodine in 10 liters of water. Water the seedlings or plants in the garden under the root. Repeat the procedure once every two weeks.

This is an excellent option for preventing iodine deficiency and a good contribution to forming the foundation of the future harvest.
