As is known, over time the fertile soil layer becomes thinner, and pathogens and numerous pests appear in it.

According to the expert of the online publication Belnovosti, scientist agronomist, landscape designer Anastasia Kovrizhnykh , summer residents who have enough humus or cow dung at their disposal do not worry about additional feeding, which must be carried out with the onset of the season.

But what about those who are not so lucky with fertilizer reserves?

Instead of manure, gardeners and vegetable growers are recommended to add a mixture of two substances during digging in the fall or spring, one of which is tobacco dust and the other is flour.

But not the usual flour that is usually used for baking, but bone flour.

This organic fertilizer contains a huge amount of substances useful for plants. These include nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, as well as calcium, magnesium, iron, zinc, sodium, animal fats and biologically active substances.

In addition, when using flour, you do not have to worry about nitrates accumulating in vegetables, as sometimes happens due to mistakes when using manure or chicken droppings.

Tomatoes, potatoes, onions and garlic, as well as cucumbers and zucchini, respond most readily to this type of feeding.
