In February, gardeners begin to sow vegetable crops and flowers for seedlings.

If you take proper care of them, then early in the spring you can get strong and healthy seedlings for planting in greenhouses or hotbeds in your garden.

Of course, not all vegetables are suitable for early sowing at this time of year. Manufacturers indicate the suitability of such seeds on the packaging.

There are many different varieties of vegetables with different ripening times: early, mid-season and late.

Early varieties are usually sown in March - April, and late varieties are recommended to be sown in February.

In mid-February, sow celery seeds, sweet peppers, indeterminate tomato varieties, leeks and basil.

Also, in the last month of winter, sow the seeds of lupine, begonia, lavender, chamomile, verbena and primrose.

Sow remontant strawberry seeds early. To ensure that the plants feel good on the windowsill, provide them with additional lighting for at least 16 hours a day.
