After soaking in a disinfectant solution, vegetable seeds germinate much better than if this is not done.

Old vegetable seeds may not always germinate, and in some cases they may not germinate at all.

Experienced gardeners try soaking old seeds in chelated copper and hope to get a good percentage of germination.

Copper is known to be a micronutrient, it is used as a fertilizer to feed adult plants so that they grow well and bear fruit. However, it turned out that copper works great for seed germination.

In specialized stores it is sold in small packaging.

To prepare the solution, take a pinch of chelated copper and dissolve it in 1 liter of warm water. Then put the vegetable seeds in this solution for an hour.

There is no need to rinse the seeds as usual. They can be safely sown in soil pre-treated with this solution.

All seedlings will sprout at the same time, and not as usually happens, where only 5 shoots sprout from all the seedlings per day, and then a few more, and so on.

The seeds germinate well, and the seedlings grow strong with a developed root system.
